This Meetup group is hosted by the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University (UK) Leicester. We teach Raja Yoga as a way of experiencing peace of mind and a positive approach to life. In addition, we provide a number of events, talks, workshops and seminars for people from all religious and cultural backgrounds to explore their own spirituality and learn life skills of reflection and meditation, derived from Raja Yoga. This has helped thousands of people across the UK develop inner calm, clear thinking and personal well-being.

Understanding Stress Reactions

A student of the Brahma Kumaris for over 20 years with special interest in self development.

Come and learn more about the effects and the root causes of stress, followed by ways to minimise stress for yourself.

Stress has been identified as a leading cause of many health problems. Largely psychological, rather than physical in origin and therefore much more difficult to prevent and remedy, modern stress affects nearly all of us at some point in our lives. Regardless of its origins, stress drains our physical, emotional and mental energy.

Several myths exist about the causes of stress and the most effective ways of dealing with it. A Stress–Free Living seminar can free you from these illusions and misconceptions and give you a new perspective.

Stress is simply the messenger guiding us back to a state of balance and health.
