What we’re about
The Lesbian Social Network of Phoenix is a group of self identified women loving women who want to connect for social gatherings both in person (Phoenix area) and online (across the states and Canada). We are an inclusive and welcoming group. We are looking for local event organizers to hold in-person events. If you are interested, please message me. I'd love to meet you and connect about your ideas.
I recently stepped up to organize this group because it needed one and I didn't want to see it disappear. I encourage participation in our online events Once we have some local organizers stepping up, in person events will start to happen again.
Feel free to check out my other group So Many Women...So Little Time (meetup.com/somanywomensolittletime) and if you love to travel, my website lesbiangetaways.com
I hope you check us out and participate when you can...

- Desert Legends with Corday in Palm Springs!Palm Springs, Palm Springs, CA
HELLO WOMEN OF PHOENIX!
DESERT LEGENDS, the annual legendary women's weekend, returns to Palm Springs April 5th -7th, 2024. This fun-filled weekend of events is produced by Corday and Friends and has a lot to offer this year. If you don't know her, please visit her website and check out her music. As some of you already know, she's a big star here in Southern California.
Desert Legends takes place the same weekend the annual Dinah Shore Golf Tournament has taken place since 1974. Although Dinah Shore has passed away, and the LPGA tournament has moved away, and we are all a bit older and wiser, Desert Legends is thrilled to carry on the tradition with this legendary lesbian party weekend in the desert!
It kicks off Friday with a legendary golf tournament on the beautiful Tahquitz Canyon course, followed by an amazing Friday night female-fueled concert with state-of-the-art lights and sound followed by a DJ Dance Party! Saturday we play pickleball under the sun with a delicious free lunch catered by local lesbian Kim Sanchez, and the Saturday night show features international celebrity comedian Fortune Feimster.
Sunday is a Mimosa Brunch and Tea Dance, or you can relax at the pool.
Whatever you decide to do, there will be so many ways to enjoy and have fun with friends. I (Jody) will be at most events along with friends and members of the So Many Women...So Little Time meetup group so please come and say hello and introduce yourself if we don't yet know each other (check my photo to find me). I am happy to introduce you around which is nice, particularly if you are shy or traveling solo. We are very friendly and approachable!
Please consider buying your tickets early because last year, every event sold out! When you go to the website, just click on each event to get more details and purchase tickets through Eventbrite.
Need a place to stay? Palm Mountain Resort & Spa is the host hotel, offering a great rate of around $200 a night. It's a FANTASTIC location right in the middle of Downtown Palm Springs where you can walk to great shopping, dining and drinking.
If you have any questions, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and by all means check out our travel site at lesbiangetaways.com. We're going to Greece twice next year for our Sacred Roots Journey and the International Eressos Women's Festival. You can join our special events and travel mailing list there.
Hope to see you in the desert!
Your organizer, Jody
