Ahoy there fellow seafarers,
This MeetUp Group is focused on cruising the South Pacific as a live-aboard lifestyle, inviting compatible folk who may wish to join PERIGEE as crew, to explore and adventure in the South Pacific.
Husband and wife team David & Leanne started out in 2013 sailing in the Med, complimented by sail-training in the UK and the Canaries. In 2016 we bought our boat, a 2003 AMEL Super Maramu, and then started sailing and exploring the US East Coast, the Caribbean and the Central Americas. PERIGEE made her Pacific crossing from Panama to the Marquesas in French Polynesia in July 2019, 'endured' COVID in the Marquesas, then explored the Tuamotus & Society Islands before onwards to Fiji & New Zealand in October 2021.
Now in New Zealand for refit and cruising, we are still taking on visiting crew for periods of between 2 weeks and 3 months, with plans to return to the South Pacific Islands for further exploration in coming years.
