What we're about

If you love playing or just listening to the piano, our group is for you!

All abilities/styles welcome and no previous performance experience required. We have the exclusive use of a newly-refurbished Newcastle venue with great acoustics, two grand pianos along with a digital. There's no requirement to perform or be a pianist to attend.

Our main piano is a brand new 6ft2 Kawai GL50 Grand (photo below!)

The events on first Sunday each month will be informal and relaxed, the aim being to increase performance confidence and have fun. If you'd like to try a duet, there'll be plenty of accompanists available! There's also and extended period before the events start that can be used for free practice.

Refreshments included. There's an attendance fee of £7,whether playing or not. This is to cover the operational costs (including the piano!)

April Event - Let's Play Some Piano (Audience Welcome)

All welcome to our April session! It's a great event to attend if you're thinking of getting back on the piano after a break or starting for the first time in 2023.

It's a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and practice performing regardless of ability, experience or musical style. Playing is optional however, non-pianists are welcome along too. The group has it's own 2017 Kawai 6ft 2 piano, there's also a second grand and a digital too (with headphones).

The attendance cost is £7. This is to cover operational costs and insurance, along with the piano itself.

People can arrive up to an hour before the 2.30 pm start if they'd like a practice or just a catch-up over cake, tea and coffee!
