This group is for everyone who wants to go out and enjoy life.

Our fun social events include dancing, tribute bands, dinner dates, coffee mornings, afternoon tea, quiz nights, pubs, walking, boot camp, bowling, horse riding, kayaking and many more.

We will try and make it easy and simple for people to socialize and meet.

We are about going out and having fun.

An opportunity to make new friends and meet up with old friends and perhaps even find that special person.

We do not charge a membership fee.

Rules & Regulations

1) Attend events you have signed up for.

2) Do not be a No Show. Three no shows = you will be barred from events for a month. Please keep your RSVP up to date. We recommend giving at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to change your RSVP.

3} Respect other member’s feelings and boundaries.

4) Have Fun!!

If you would like to help with costs a contribution of £5 would be appreciated.

Members who have contributed to the costs will always take priority.

Buffet style food at a cost of £7.50 per person will be available from 7:00pm, quiz at 7:30pm.

Entry to the quiz £3 per person cash.

A Little about the electric Club

The Bournemouth Electric Club was founded in 1935 as a sports and social club for Southern Electric employees - However the club has opened membership to the general public.

The club has a new outside bar, huge beer garden, variety of different food options including pizza, burgers, fish, chips, mushy peas or curry sauce.

Bournemouth Electric Club



Never Mind The Bongos are an acoustic duo formed in 2004. They perform popular covers ranging from 50’s to present day including Everly Brothers, Kinks, Simon & Garfunkel, Jam, Blur, Madness, Specials, Bob Marley, Pogues, Prince, Amy Winehouse, Kings of Leon, Jessie J, Bruno Mars and many more.

Delivering a unique fully live sound, relying on vocal harmony, guitar, harmonica, mandolin, bongos/drums and percussion, they are not to be missed!

Doors are 6.30pm with Food being served till 8.30pm so grab yourself a fresh pizza from the pizza oven
