One of the features of the Data School training program (https://www.thedataschool.co.uk/) is getting to teach others. We've decided that we should teach YOU, the public, instead of each other. Join us virtually for a day of Tableau training. We'll run 4x 90 minute training sessions - you can join for the whole day, or just sessions that interest you.

> 9:00 - 9:15 | Introductions

> 9:15 - 10:45 | Understand the Alteryx Interface
Find the Alteryx interface confusing to navigate? Whether you've been using Alteryx for a while, or just getting started, this session specifically aimed at helping you navigate and understand the Alteryx Interface and building familiarity with the basic functions.

> 11:00 - 12:30 | Data Cleaning and Prep in Alteryx
This session will cover the basics of building a workflow in Alteryx — from understanding how to approach data preparation, to some of the most common data transformations (such as date transformations, and dealing with missing values). You’ll learn how to turn a data-nightmare into a clean workflow.

> 13:15 - 14:45 | Tableau Prep vs. Alteryx Designer
This session will compare the functionality of Alteryx and Tableau Prep, outlining the strengths and weaknesses of each. We'll then walk through some of the best techniques to clean data for subsequent analysis in both applications.

> 15:00 - 16:30 | Getting Started With Spatial
This session aims to be an introduction for attendees into some of the core spatial tools in Alteryx. The session will begin with a discussion on what spatial data is and it's applications in businesses and everyday life before moving onto Alteryx for practical examples of using spatial tools.

> 16:30 - 17:00 | time for additional questions for the trainers

NOTE: The topics covered are usually not appropriate for Alteryx beginners. If you want to start using Alteryx check out the 'Beginner' streams in our Thursday Training at Three sessions ‘Alteryx Essential’ training sessions.
