So after trudging through the heavy, wet, deep snow this morning for a bit I have decided to switch to different trails - shorter, easier trails. Green Rock is hard enough without the heavy, deep snow.
Thus the new hike will be the other Rockwood Reservation trails. The trails are easier, more clearly marked and hikers can bail at many locations if it's too difficult or they are short of time.
The total of all 3 trails is approximately 7 miles. We'll start with Rock Quarry than go across the street to Walk In the Woods/Lime Kiln.
We'll hike at whatever pace the trail allows.
