Leavers of London and their role as free citizens

This is an informal drinks event to discuss Libertarian theories, recent news and events in general, the state of libertarianism in the various parties and in the culture.

In the first of a selection of talks from allied groups, we will be addressed by Lucy Harris founder of "Leavers of London", a "support group" for Leave voters who feel they are a misunderstood minority within the capital. Lucy has written "I voted Leave to call the establishment’s bluff. To test that we are, indeed, a free and democratic country. To confirm that I was able to say no to the European Union. After all, as Salman Rushdie once wrote, the freedom to reject is the only freedom".

Remain voters, who are as much a part of the libertarian community as leave voters, are invited to come to listen and to participate in full as normal.

The formal session runs from 7:30 to 8:30pm.
