Life Sciences NYC is a community of researchers, entrepreneurs and investors who are passionate about advancing the commercial and humanitarian applications of biology. We foster informal communication and interdisciplinary collaboration within life sciences. All our events are free and open to the public.
Life Sciences NYC meets approximately once a month at events that include both formal presentations and informal networking. Technical aspects are sometimes discussed, but attendees do not need to have a technical background.
This event will feature a presentation by Michael J. Flanagan, PhD, Executive Director of Genspace.
Genspace is the world’s first community lab. Since 2009, it has served the greater New York area by providing STEM educational outreach and a platform for science innovation at the grassroots level.
In addition to Dr. Flanagan’s presentation, we will feature open discussion and informal networking.
