A fun and encouraging open mic.
Whatever it is that you write, and regardless of who it's for, it's sometimes nice to share it. Reading out loud can be scary - yes, but this session is all about support and encouragement and celebrating having a go. If there's time and you want it, feedback can be requested. But it's primarily a fun evening sharing our writing with each other, just because we can.
There really is no requirement for what you bring to be a 'thing' e.g. poetry, prose, a story etc. It might just be something you wrote in a spare moment that made you kind of go 'huh?'. It could even be someone else's writing you really admire and just want to share its brilliance.

Time will be capped at 5 minutes per read. Depending on numbers, you may get more than one go.
A note on content: obviously freedom of expression is important, but if you're writing is perpetuating not demonstrating 'isms' (racism, sexism etc.) then it's probably not going to be welcome. Just give us a heads up to warn of any content people may find difficult.
