Individuals and Organizations manage themselves by transitioning from a set of results/meanings that have already been realized (alternatively, set of physical and/or intellectual assets achieved so far) to another future set in the individual-brains of stake holders of the Organization. We cannot predict the future but we can create it by using the creativity of individual-brains to plan a creative road-map of meanings/results on an aggregated-braincombined of individual-brains that will act upon/change resources of the environment efficiently, effectively and timely so that the Vision will realize according to the Values of the Individual/Organization. The lecture will address the essence of Strategy for Star-ups with focus on Product Development.

Shmuel Barkan is an icon in the Israeli Hi-Tech Industry. In the last 15 years he served as General Manager of Motorola Semiconductors (SPS), Freescale Semiconductors and NXP in Israel and managed the business for the Global Cooperation in Russia, Eastern Europe, Austria, Greece, Turkey and Middle East & Africa. In his previous positions he served in senior management positions in High-Tech companies based in Israel, Europe and the United States.

Shmuel is holding B.A. degree in Electrical Engineering from Technion Institute in Haifa, Certificate studies in Business Administration for Senior Managers at Bar Ilan University, Corporate Governance at IDC and Strategic Consulting & Coaching from Technion Institute.
