What we're about

This group is for people who share a common interest in history. This group will expand our interest in history and explore some historic places and spaces in Southeastern Nebraska and the Omaha Metro area.

Events will include a broad array and scope of history interests. Most events will be on weekends with the occasional weekday event. Most events will be 2-4 hours in length. However, a few day trips may occur from time to time.

The term history is seen broadly and includes architecture, art, archaeology, science, museums, music, and movies/theater plays to name a few. This group will include ventures to historic neighborhoods, historic buildings, historic districts, museums, and national and state parks. Some events include museum exhibits, lectures, historic walking tours, hikes in historic parks, historic gardens and food/coffee/wine/beer options in historic districts or neighborhoods. Some day trips may occur from time to time.

Join us and discover history in your local neighborhood and/or region!
