What we're about

Whether you're writing for fun or to be published someday, foster your creativity with likeminded authors in this new monthly group. Bring in original work to be read aloud and get feedback.

We have other members other than authors read works to help the author hear their work in a different voice. After reading, we focus our discussion around three questions:

1) What did the group like about the piece?

2) What questions did the group have about the piece?

3) What questions does the author have for the audience?

This keeps the discussion positive while still getting authors valuable feedback.

For our past few meetings we've had a good group of regular attendees, but of course we welcome new members. Please also go to https://www.lincolnwoodlibrary.org/ to register. The Zoom information is above in this description, and we will also email out the Zoom information a few days before the session. You can email pieces to be read at the meeting to [masked] for distribution to everyone who registers. Any writing resources discussed at the in-person meeting will be posted here for those who weren't able to make it to see. We look forward seeing you!
