There are three hot topics currently debated in modern computing: the use of Git, continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD).
Therefore, we are incredibly privileged to have a specialist from GitLab dealing with these issues in the first of our virtual events in April 2020
GitLab are the new contender in this field, with many clever offerings: repos, CI/CD, ticketing and much more, all in one integrated package.
Plus, GitLab is open source, you can download and use it for free on your server, which is wonderful!
Please join us for Michael Friedrich’s introduction into GitLab basics followed by hands-on exercises on best practices. We will also peek into the power of CI/CD and learn how to easily add them to your projects.
[We are still working out the final arrangements of how these virtual events will run and will inform you closer to the day with links, etc. ]

Know of anyone who has unused equipment (old laptops, SSDs, hard drives, etc., even an old Raspberry Pi)?
We want to re-purpose and re-use things.
We want to get Linux laptops into the hands of aspiring developers. We have given away 5+ nice Linux (re-purposed) laptops to #womenintech (for free) and want to do more.
Your ideas are welcome, please contact Brian at BrianLinuxing@gmail.com if you can help.
