Copenhagen Coffee Lab & Bakery - Alcantara

Join us for some casual coworking at the Copenhagen Coffee Lab in Alcantara! Bring your laptops, do some work, and have a chat or two with fellow nomads. This is not really an "event", just an excuse for us all to do a bit of work in a nice environment. :) As always, everyone welcome! NOTE: there are multiple Copenhagen Coffee Labs in Lisbon, so make sure you have the right one. NomadHike: Into the forest to see the fireflies!

Cais do Sodré

June: The month of festivities in Lisbon, but it's also the season for a small critter that usually gets overlooked--the firefly! On June 17th join us at a night hike in Sintra, our mission? To spot as much fireflies as possible and take in all the beauty that they can muster. We'll begin our hike going up from Malveira da Serra towards the Twin Rocks, all the way to the historical center of Sintra. We'll be covering a lot of forest ground--hoping this year all of it will be filled with fireflies. We'll start the hike before it gets dark and will see the shift happening as the day-light disappears from Sintra--leaving room for the fireflies to do their magic! Who knows, we might even catch a memorable sunset along the way! Also, it's a full moon night! If the light of the moon is just right the forest areas we're going to explore will look beautiful--the atmosphere is just unique. There are bad news though, the fireflies only come out if certain conditions are met, there's a small chance we might not see them. **Important information** -We'll be taking the train from Cais do Sodré to Cascais--the train leaves at 17h48 and arrives at 18h21. We'll then take the bus 403 from Cascais at 18h40 and we should arrive at Malveira da Serra close to 19h00--time when we'll begin our slow hike towards the forest areas and into the mountain range. -Please make sure you catch the train leaving at 17h48, I can't wait for you if you miss it, it's important to reach the center of Sintra before the last train to Lisbon heads out so we need to start the hike as soon as possible. -We're on a timer with this one, please charge your viva card with 10-15 euros, it'll be enough for the whole trip. The moment we arrive at Sintra at the end of our hike, we have to make sure we take the last train--having a bunch of people buying the tickets on the only two machines that are available is gonna take a long time, we might miss the train because of it, so please have those viva cards charged beforehand. If you have the new Pass Navegante, you're all set, it'll work for all the trains and buses we're catching. **What to bring** -Even though it's night time and we won't need as much water, please still bring at least a 1.5 liter -Bring some food to energize yourself, we're going to stop a few times for a rest and to eat -A good pair of hiking shoes -I'm sure our phones and the light of the moon will be enough, but if you feel more comfortable bring a flashlight with you. **Meeting point** The meeting point will be in front of the Pingo Doce at Cais do Sodré--very close to the entrance of the train station at ground level. We'll be meeting at 17h20. **Other information** -When you spot a guy with a red/black backpack--come and say hi! -The metro station of the meeting point is "Cais do Sodré" running through the green line. Looking forward to seeing you on the 17th! Please be on Time!! Bloggers roundtable - How to monetize a blog with affiliate links

Are you a blogger or content creator? Whether you are an autodidact or you are trained professionally, it's quite possible that in this fast-paced world not all your questions have been answered by the internet yet. We want to connect people that have the same passion and can give each other valuable advice at a monthly round table. Exchange ideas, ways of working, find partners to collaborate with or just see how others are fumbling around too. So join us to a small presentation and a great conversation for a few hours! This month we'll have a presentation from Marek (also your host for this month) on how to earn an income with a blog using affiliate links -- which give you commission if someone follows the link and makes a purchase. I've been using affiliate links since I first signed up for the Amazon.com affiliate program back in 1999 and still use them today on my travel blog (www.indietraveller.co) to drive the majority of my revenues. I'll share some insights I learned (some of them quite recently) on how to make such links work in order to support your income as an online content creator. Apart from this brief knowledge-sharing session, we'll be having a roundtable discussion together on any blogging related topics. (P.S. If you have a presentation idea for a future blogger's meetup, please let us know! We do these every month.) Address: Rua Saraiva Carvalho 1C, Campo de Ourique[masked] LISBON https://resvescowork.pt/en We are starting at 6.00pm We have a Facebook group, feel free to join! https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=247884382813993&ref=content_filter
