Weekly Lisbon Digital Nomads Meetup Together with The week of the Entrepreneur

Entrepreneurs and (slow)Nomads, you're going to want to hear this: Rooftop, Drinks, Food, DJ and great company. Does that sound good to you? Then you'll love this event!

As you might already know, we’re continuously trying to find creative but safe ways to help our community gather, meet and enjoy some good times in Lisbon.

For this particular meetup, we’re partnering up with the Municipality of Lisbon for their yearly event “Week of the entrepreneur”. It’s a great time to meet other Nomads, slomads (especially now), and the local entrepreneur community.

We’ll gather on the rooftop of the latest pop-up spot in Beato, Casa do Capitão. We’ll have many tables of maximum 10.

We're especially excited because we have had to limit the number of attendees of our meetups and we know some of you have not been able to join us because of this. For this meetup we'll have much more space.

Since we have to eat when we drink, please arrive punctually to all enjoy dinner or snacks together

We will have to follow the special covid rules in Lisbon. Casa do Capitao functions as a restaurant. What this means for us:

• You can take a seat at one of the many tables, unfortunately this is not a standing or dancing event
• We’ll have to eat something, the menu of Casa do Capitao is extensive, you can have a look at the photos attached to this event page. There are vegetarian options and there is a vegan option.
• You’ll have to wear a mask when entering the building and when going to the toilet etc, you can take it off when you are seated at the table
• Greet people you meet safely with elbow or fist bumps

Don’t RSVP if you’re not coming or change it as soon as you know you can’t come (try not to change it last minute so someone on the waiting list still has time to make plans). This way we can use all the spots we have for someone who genuinely wants to come.

About Week of the Entrepreneur
Lisbon´s Entrepreneurship Week (in Portuguese, Semana de Empreendedorismo de Lisboa) is a decentralized festival organized by the Lisbon entrepreneurship community to the international community and supported by the city hall.

About Casa do Capitão
Casa do Capitão is a popup initiative which will give space and a voice to artists in Lisbon, and will contribute to give the city it’s cultural expression back. The space is open during 2.5 months.

Open from Thursday to Sunday, the house and terrace are located at the Hub Creativo do Beato with a multidisciplinary program for all ages.

In addition to that, you can have lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks at Casa do Capitão.

About the DJ
On the ones and twos we have DJ Jordan Howard, a valued member of our Community. He is known for his eclectic style but always includes a fair amount of lesser known 90’s hip hop (as well Soul, Dancehall, Disco and Brazilian Classics etc). He’s shared the stage with Grandmaster Flash, Danny Rampling, Ratatat and Diplo to name a few.
