Luis Alberto Urrea follows the paths of some of the 26 men who crossed the Mexico-Arizona border one night in 2001. 14 of the men die, 12 of the men make it over the border and on to lives in the United States. The author's intent was to give a human face to this issue that has become notorious in Arizona and the nation. I think this will be a hard book to read, but important for those of us who live in Arizona.
The Pinetop-Lakeside library has one copy of this book and it is not too expensive an ebook.
