What we're about

This user group is meant for local developers, architects, and designers focused on Java SE, Java EE, and Java ME technologies, and all things within and connected to the world of Java. This is a great opportunity for professionals in the area to network and discuss code, architecture, and new innovations to apply to your own projects! No dues required and refreshments are provided. We will meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6pm at The Arkansas Venture Center. Beginners and pros are both welcome. Like us on Facebook & Twitter @LRJavaUserGroup. Also be sure to join our Slack channel at: https://littlerockjug.slack.com/signup Thanks!

Micro-services and how they differ from traditional web services

Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub

Dave Trower will describe micro-services and how they differ from traditional web services. Dave has been using java since 2000. He has been a middleware developer for several years and has written many Java backend programs. He currently works for Verizon. Lighting talk still open. I'd like to see one of our newer Java developers step up and give a 10 minute presentation on something they are working on and/or are interested in. Shoot me an email if interested.
