What we're about

Hello! Calling all art & music lovers (non-performing and talented performers alike), and anyone who wants to be more creative!

I'm an abstract painter and terrible musician who is launching a series of crazy events to share my love of living life to the fullest and creating art&music! From after-work boozy painting sessions, to Saturday art&games classes to free evening&weekend piano/poetry/singing/creative sessions - it's almost guaranteed there'll be something for everyone.

The events will give performers a chance to participate and non-performers an opportunity to enjoy! If you like the idea of paints, music, chocolates, sometimes booze, and ad hoc performances then I hope you'll find a home in this group and I look forward to welcoming you! :)

Three golden rules to join:

- You agree to treat all members with kindness and respect

- You're over 18 and younger than 45 (or at least younger at heart!!)

- You're a creative person and/or would like to explore being more creative and/or you greatly value creativity

Classical & Contemporary Performers!

Foxlow

This is the first meeting in a series of events. The purpose of this initial meeting is to discuss how we'd like to go forward. The idea of these events is to get a small group of us together who are interested in 'performing' whatever material we feel comfortable with to members of the public simply for fun and creative expression! To give you an example: At the moment I'm thinking it would be nice for each of our 'performance sessions' to have a common theme, say 'romantic love' or 'joy' etc. We will then each prepare something (either together or separately) to perform. Material can be our own or something that has inspired us. Poetry, music (bring your own instrument), dance, singing is all welcome. When we are ready, we will turn up at a random pre-agreed public locations in London (e.g. Kings Cross if we need a piano), have fun performing our pieces, and then head off to the nearest pub for drinks and socialising! **You do not need to be a professional** just enthusiastic about what you do and have a strong belief in creativity & art for arts sake. And ofcourse a decent proficiency at what you do, but that is for you to decide. This is a new venture so suggestions/ideas welcome.
