The Midfield Field Legends feature members from some of Perth’s seminal bands of the 80’s including The Triffids, The Stems and The Holly Rollers, No Flowers No Wedding Dress, as well as current Fremantle musicians Kevin Smith (Seven Story Jumpers), Adrian Hoffmann (The Morning Night) and Steve Gibson (Kill Devil Hills). Instruments and vocal leads and harmonies are thrown around.
The 21st at The Railway is a tribute to Niall Lucy.
Niall Lucy a loved and brilliant Australian writer and his love for The Triffids and bands associated with The Midfields was well known.
The Midfield Legends decided to play tribute to Niall by playing a set of songs that he loved, put together by his family, wife Sam and children Jakeb, Dylan & Hannah.
Joining the tribute is The Painkillers and The Morning Night.
Legendary James Baker, Jakeb, Dylan & Hannah will join The Midfields for a couple of songs.
