I picked a future cruise date of Sat, Aug. 29 - Sep. 5, 2026 (7-days), because that gives those who don't already have a passport (hopefully) sufficient time to get one. Also, everyone would have until APRIL 30, 2026 to get a FULL REFUND of their deposit ($125 to book the reservation) -- and any other money paid toward the cruise up to that date.

Any FULL remaining payment is due MAY 1, 2026.

I also picked a NCL (The Bliss) Alaskan round-trip cruise from Seattle, so that if someone is interested but they don't have a passport or is unable to get one in time for the cruise, they can still go and participate in the port excursions and/or disembark the ship at Sitka, Juneau, Icy Strait Point and Ketchikan (All Alaska) -- but not the Victoria, British Columbia port.

I didn't choose a Mexico cruise from Los Angeles because the excursion ports for those cruises are all in Mexico and the non passport guests would not be able to enjoy leaving the ship during the cruise.

Anyone who is a US citizen and has valid government ID & a valid birth certificate can still go on the cruise -- they just wouldn't be able to disembark at the Canada port.

***Note: I checked with NCL and the US Govt. Travel Site, but please feel free to check and confirm this specific info for yourself (especially if you don't have a valid passport).

I also picked NCL because they offer a great solo cruise cabin option with a private lounge benefit for those who prefer to not share a cabin.

For those who are interested in sharing a cabin, NCL has a 2nd guest free cabin/ and applicable air fare promotion as well.

The total cost of the shared cabin and applicable air fare could be split.

I have already booked my solo studio cabin, which comes with access to the private solo lounge and its amenities.

ALL solo cabins (including upgrades) include access to the Solo Guest Lounge -- which is on Deck 11 -- and can be accessed inside from Decks 10 - 12 without having to use outside corridors from other decks.

The cost for my solo studio cabin and the OPTIONAL Unlimited Alcohol & Soda package + OPTIONAL 3 Specialty Dinner Package

(plus the inclusive Internet Package -- 150 minutes & the $50 excursion credit) is :

$1648.50.

If we get 5 cabins/10 people double occupancy minimum, each double cabin gets $250 off. No discounts for single occupancy.

If anyone wants to take advantage of the 2nd person flies free promotion they need to know the following:

They have to fly in a day early (Aug. 28) -- and they would have to take care of their own hotel reservation.

We can consider a group shuttle -- or everyone can handle their own transportation to and from their hotel to the port -- and their return from the port back to the airport upon our return from the cruise (Sep. 5).

A group shuttle from the port can be arranged later thru NCL.

Once we make our cruise reservations I would coordinate with the personal NCL cruise agent to complete the air and transportation arrangements.
