What we’re about

This is an experiential group for those who want to interpersonally transform their lives by connecting more authentically with yourself and with others. In a supportive compassionate loving environment, learn to be aware of what you and those around you deeply need and actually practice to cultivating the courageous action required to embody those needs. This meet-up is based on the psychological science of: Awareness, Courage and Love (ACL), a model developed and researched at the University of Washington. Led by NYS licensed psychologists (Mark Sisti, PhD, Julian Manetti-Cusa, PsyD & Rob Handelman, PsyD), we will engage in experiential practices meant to cultivate: self/other awareness, develop courage & deepen love (ACL): e.g., mindfulness, open-hearted presence; courageous action & self-expression; deep listening, acceptance and compassion; self-care; embracing vulnerability; giving and receiving support; and living more boldly. After each meeting, you will leave with exercises and tools that you can try with 2-3 people or more (family, friends, co-workers, intimate partners) to deepen your relationships and to move towards what you value most in life. This with courage, genuineness, love and awareness has the power to transform your life and relationships...we know, it has for us.
