The TWO (http://the-two.ch/blog/) have been making waves on the Swiss blues scene for the past three years, bringing depth, integrity and colour to what sometimes feels like a long-lost musical tradition. Made up of Mauritian Yannick Nanette (lead vocals, guitar, harmonica) and Swiss Thierry Jaccard (lead guitar, backing vocals), this tight unit is highly thought of in the Swiss blues community and has even caused ripples abroad by reaching the semi-finals of the International Blues (http://www.memphisbluessociety.com/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=539640&module_id=124900)
The idea behind the living room concerts is that we want to bring the concerts back to their roots. No spectacular shows, no enhancer, no disturbing talks at the concert, no overpriced tickets. Just the living room atmosphere, meeting new people and then enjoy the concert in a unique atmosphere.
Bevor the concert as usual, we will be a potluck dinner. That means that everyone is invited to bring some (homemade) food to share with the other people who attend. Bring some salad, snacks or a dessert with you and people will love you for that :-).
For the musician, there will be a hat collection. All proceeds from this collection go to the musicians.

Die TWO machen seit drei Jahren Wellen auf der Schweizer Blues-Szene und bringen Tiefe, Integrität und Farbe in das, was manchmal eine längst verlorene musikalische Tradition ist. Aus der Mauritius Yannick Nanette (Lead Vocals, Gitarre, Mundharmonika) und der Schweizer Thierry Jaccard (Leadgitarre, Backing Vocals) ist diese eng anliegende Einheit in der Schweizer Blues-Community sehr gedacht und hat sogar mit dem Halbfinale ins Ausland geriet Des internationalen Blues
Die Idee hinter den Wohnzimmerkonzerten ist, dass wir die Konzerte wieder zu seinen Wurzeln bringen wollen. Keine spektakuläre Show, kein Verstärker, keine stördenen Gespräche am Konzert, keine überteuerten Eintritte. Dafür Wohnzimmeratmosphäre, neue Leute kennenlernen und danach in einzigartiger Atmosphäre das Konzert geniessen.
Zuerst gibt es ein Potluck Dinner. Die Idee daran ist, dass jeder etwas zu essen mitnimmt, um es in der Gruppe der Anwesenden zu teilen. Nimm etwas mit wie einen Salat, einen Snack oder ein Dessert und die anderen Anwesenden werden dich dafür lieben :-).
Für den Musiker wird es eine Hutkollekte geben. Sämtliche Einnahmen aus dieser Kollekte gehen an den Musiker.
