LjPyMeetup October 2018

Hi fellow Pythonistas!

The next Python Meetup will take place next Thursday 18th October, at 6pm in Poligon (one hour earlier than usually!). This one will be a bit bigger, co-organized by Kiwi.com who are bringing great speakers and pizza! We'll also host a Lightning Talks session at the end.

IMPORTANT: We are starting one hour earlier than usual, at 6PM!

Speakers:

• Tin Marković, Senior Backend Handler of Kiwi.com, will talk about Refactoring in Python: design patterns and approaches.

• Lukas Benka, Python Developer, will talk about an easy way to get CI up and running and benefits it is gonna bring.

• Jakub Vorel, the Kiwi.com Python Tech Lead, will talk aobuth how they refactored a huge monolithic app and ended up with 2 - for a while, offering a brief list of biggest mistakes and how not to repeat them.

• Lightning Talks: We will have a 30 minute Lightning Talks session at the end. These are short, up to 3 minute long talks about anything related to Python. Slides are optional.
