Bring Hat, Sunglasses, Water, Jacket
Be prepared to have Fun! Very Important: Call[masked] if unable to attend at the last minute, by 8 A M so I will know how many llamas to bring! Please let us know which guests would like to lead a llama. If there are many horse trailers we will car caravan to the Union Hill section of the state park for our walk. Wearing comfortable walking shoes with thick, warm socks will make your walk more enjoyable. Majority of the group is available Saturdays, and we will plan for an occasional Monday, Friday, Sunday, for the other members,. Capturing the youngest llamas, haltering, and sometimes a minimal brushup takes a varying amount of time before each hike. If any of you would like to come to my ranch an hour before some of the hikes and help with preparations occasionally, let me know. It requires learning to halter, and grooming a few.

What we're about

Let's have fun and easy exercise walking with young llamas! These are eight month to three years old, in training to become working pack llamas. A variety of local trails are suitable, to give us interesting places to visit each week. Two to four hours at a meandering, relaxed pace while we all get acquainted. You will learn all about llamas, native plants, trees, stop for photography, and sometimes bring a lunch.
