Open data for local government

Details

"Local authorities provide essential public services in a complex and often challenging environment. Better use of data can streamline processes, provide information to citizens, and make data available to innovators and service providers.

This workshop would be a hands on introduction to the Data and Public Services Toolkit, a set of free, collaborative, non-technical tools ODI has created to support people designing and delivering public services to identify what data is available, what it can be used for, and how to do that well. We’ll also talk about the wider data landscape, some emerging data access models such as data trusts, and some great examples of public service redesign using data. https://theodi.org/topic/public-administration-services/…"
