Assist the Deceased Ceremony for the End of Ghost Month

Details
The Assist the Deceased Ceremony is the Buddhist version of a funeral. It is meant to help people that have passed away enter into their next realm of existence. This ceremony will be open to the public, and you are welcome to attend and help us with the chants, or just attend and watch the ceremony. If you know someone that has passed away in the last year, you are welcome to bring a picture or piece of paper with their name and date of birth. We will place the pictures and papers on the altar to include them in the ceremony. There is no required minimum donation to include your family or loved one, normally people will give a few dollars or more if they are so inclined. If you have any questions, please mail Kathy Hassett at khassett@aol.com
