London AMP - Enterprise and Ecommerce with AMP

For our first Meetup in 2019 we are looking to explore how AMP can be used in Enterprise and Ecommerce organisations and show how it's not just a useful framework for media organisations!

We'll be hosting the Meetup back in our very own offices at White Collar Factory, pizza and drinks will be provided.

We'll have three speakers on the evening.

1. Robin Allport - Application Architect at comparethemarket:
   Schrödinger's AMP
   How the UK comparison giant Compare The Market went AMP-first with their website. This talk will encompass the strategy of combining both valid and non-valid AMP into a single view, the technical and cultural challenges faced, and the results of this approach - both from a performance perspective and an organisational efficiency standpoint.

2. Matthew Gandor - Ecommerce Product Manager at MADE.COM
   AMP on Magento
   Matthew will be presenting how MADE.COM have used AMP to help take their website to the next level.

3. Katharina Almonte - Strategy Lead for AMP Ads, Google
   Katharina will join us over video chat from NYC to discuss the capabilities, benefits and vision for AMPHTML Ads, the fast and most secure way to monetize your website!
