The first London Accessibility. Meetup of the year sees us welcome Paul Smyth and Heydon Pickering join us.
Paul Smyth, Head of Digital Accessibility at Barclays, will be sharing the Barclays accessibility story, their work to shift their culture and some of the resources their making freely available to the community. He'll also share his thoughts on how new technology trends will shape the future for banking and what the accessibility implications are likely to be.
Heydon Pickering, Web accessibility consultant, interface design and writer, will talking priorities. Inclusive interface design isn't about making things work for literally everyone, but we need to stop making 'perfect' experience for the very few. With help from Taylor Swift, Heydon will talk to us about how to reassess our priorities and do some of our least perfect and best work.
