Founded in 2012, the London Agile Discussion Group is different from most other groups.
We don’t have speakers who stand at the front to “educate you” on their ideas; the knowledge comes from you, the participants.
The format of sessions varies (e.g. workshops, debates, group investigations), but each one is carefully crafted to harness the attendees’ collective knowledge, experience and ideas so that everyone can benefit from this shared wisdom.
We welcome all levels of knowledge, from complete newcomers to experts.
This session will cover:
- What the scientific method is
- Why it might be useful to us in a business environment
- How you can use it to test ideas and build products/services
Agenda (approx. timings):
18:30 - Welcome
18:40 - Explanation of the scientific method and collectively applying it to an example
19:00 - Breakout rooms to apply the scientific method to a scenario (provided by us) ... followed by presentation of ideas and discussions
19:50 - Wrap up
20:00 - Finish
As you can see, the format of the night will be highly interactive, with only a short explanation of concepts.
Please note that we encourage members to take photographs during our sessions. If you are not happy for images of you to be posted on the internet/used to publicise the group, please do not attend this event.
