Agenda:

---
6.30pm - Arrival / Pizza / Networking
---

---
1st Talk - Alexa, ask Eurostar to plan a trip (Jose Quinto, Andrea Jezovit and Thorne Gladwin, Eurostar)

Jose, Thorne and Andrea from the Eurostar Innovation team will speak about the challenges of designing and developing an Alexa skill for searching Eurostar fares. Through user research, the team discovered user needs around ticket search that were difficult to fulfil within the constraints of a typical Alexa skill. By pushing the boundaries and experimenting, the team was able to meet users’ needs with the first travel skill that allows flexible date search. They’ll tell their story and provide advice for others looking to create a skill that is a great user experience.

---
2nd Talk - Alexa, navigate to admiral.spite.feeds (Chris Sheldrick, what3words)

Chris Sheldrick will talk about what3words, the global address system that has named every 3 metre square in the world with 3 words; a voice-first system which enables simple communication to voice assistants to reference a precise location. Chris' talk will focus on what3words' newly built Alexa skill enabling users to order an Uber to and from a 3 word address, and cover the wider what3words ecosystem from Mongolian Airbnbs to their voice support across Mercedes cars.
