Talks

Davor (@BonaciDavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/dbonaci) is Founder/CEO at Operiant and previously was a Senior Software Engineer at Google where he worked on Google Cloud Dataflow, the predessor to Apache Beam, since its beginnings. Currently, he is the VP of the Apache Beam project.
Davor will tell us about his company, Operiant, will give an overview of the project's roadmap and will give us an introduction on how to become a committer.

We will then sit together and discuss several topics / questions that have been raised by the community. For this part, we want to ask you to send us questions on: baetensmatthias@gmail.com and/or victor@qubit.com.

Everyone interested in Data Engineering, Data Science and Machine Learning, who want to learn about one of the newer and exciting Apache projects focused on batch & streaming processing. We try to give everyone the same foundations at the start of the meet up and go more expert along the way, covering both business value as well as digging deeper technically.
