  • Psychological Types: Meet-Network-Friend compatible PersonalityTypes(Free)(+Pub)

Hi join us as we grab a drink & explore the "personality traits" that make us unique, as people!

At this event, you get the chance to meet & friend others, rapidly guess their personality, - and learn more about the people you encounter.

    -----

    How it works:

Sit down with like minded people & ask inquisitive, quick fire questions that get to the point and help you determine one another's type.

Move to the next spot. - Do the same. - Repeat!

Soon enough, you'll know all the different personality types, - their characteristics, and have acquired a great skill.

Personality Psychology provides you with an appreciation of the diversity between people, - tools to connect with others and provides unique development opportunities.

    • You also get the chance to analyse your own personality & figure out the type of people you get on with best! :)

You will like the activity if you enjoy psychology, anything to do with the mind, or work in art related fields.

Meet other like-minded types - as we get to know each other & have a few drinks @ our Saturday event! :)

    ----------

    What is Personality Psychology?

"Type Indicators" are ways of identifying a person's characteristics & personality, in Psychology.

The combinations of letters "INFJ," "ESTP," "ISFP" .... - each refer to a specific type of personality.

Once you know the type of personality someone is, you can bring that wealth of knowledge and understanding into your day to day interactions!

Learn more about personality psychology: @ https://www.16personalities.com/articles/our-theory

    Extra-Background

Most major branches of personality psychology are derived from: "Jungian Analysis."

C.G. Jung is famously one of the three founding fathers of Psychotherapy, along with Freud and Adler!

His 1921 publication "Psychological types" outlined the modern theory that personality is present at birth. This was in contrast to competing theories such as B.F. Skinner's Behaviourism, viewing the mind as a blank canvass, that comes with nothing preinstalled. (-Genetically.)

Despite its presence in modern Psychology, the classic nature .vs. nurture debate traces back to the Greeks, with thinkers like Plato, Aristotle & Socrates developing motivation & behavioral theories, from the more fundamental notion, of "innate" knowledge.
