In this second LDNBotFramework Meetup we're going to get our hands dirty by creating a working ALEXA SKILL - without writing a single line of code nor using AWS, Lamdbas, nor NodeJS!

AGENDA - 7PM Start

* From Zero to Echo: Bootstrapping an Echo Skill without Code or Hosting - and connecting with a BotFramework Bot!

Robin Osborne - ChatBot Aficionado - will be attempting a live development session, showing how to start your first basic Alexa Skill without writing any code, nor using AWS, nor Lambdas - not a single line of NodeJS in sight!

* You'll see how to utilise various simple development tools that will benefit your bot development process

* You'll see some interesting gotchas found when developing an Alexa Skill

* You will even see how to link an Alexa Skill to a BotFramework chatbot!

Robin Osborne is an experienced VP engineering, head of development, software development manager, scrum master, team leader, architect, analyst, and developer (etc, etc, etc) and can be found blogging regularly about the BotFramework over on and on twitter @rposbo (

He is the founder of LDNBotFramework Meetup, and soon to be the co-host of a new chatbot podcast: Artificially Intelligent (@TheAIPodcast (!
