What we're about

Let's go scrumpy seeking! London has several Meetup groups for beer drinkers, but here's one for those of us who like our pints a little more fruity to get together and discover the city's best cider pubs.

Have you been to a pub with a great cider selection, or heard about one you'd like to try? Know of an upcoming cider festival? Let us know or suggest an event and we'll give it a go.

Also see the discussions section for upcoming cidery events that the organisers are unable to make. If you fancy going to one of these and would be happy to host, get in touch. All you need to do as host is decide a meeting time and place and make sure everyone can find you.

There is lots of seating including outside if the weather is good. Entry only £1. Open until 9pm or until the beer runs out! (I will be leaving 6ish though). Kidbrooke Beer & Cider Festival

Charlton Park Rugby Club

Kidbrooke Beer Festival returns for a 6th year with 20+ ciders & perries, 50+ ales and a selection of food stalls. Admission £2 (£1 for CAMRA members). The nearest station is Kidbrooke - trains run direct from Cannon St, Charing Cross, Waterloo East, London Bridge and Victoria. The route from the station is usually well signposted, but I have uploaded a photo of the map as well. Alternatively buses 132 (from North Greenwich) and 286 (from Greenwich town centre) stop on Rochester Way at the bottom of Broad Walk. The rugby club is tucked away behind the houses. I will email out my number on the day to attendees, and once we find a spot to gather I will update the comments below. http://sel.camra.org.uk/diary/festivals/
