    What we're about

This is a group for techies who want to meet up and volunteer to help organisations that are working to have a positive effect on climate change. We will be contacting all types of organisations - charities, companies, governments, universities and NGOs. We'll be Agile in our approach, using the internet to collaborate remotely on tasks in small teams. Where possible, we will be open sourcing our software. Anyone with any kind of tech skills is welcome, including programming, web design, databases, web technologies, sysadmin. People from climate change organisations are also encouraged to join the group and let us know what kind of work they would like us to do.

No minimum time commitment expected, a few hours here and there would be great.

If you want to do something new and challenging and work together with other people who care about climate change, this is the group for you. First meeting is going to be on Wednesday 8th January 2014 at 7pm and then on the first Wednesday every month. Venue will depend on the number of people who RSVP, but will be near a central London tube station. If you can't make the meetup you will be able to join us on a live webcast or watch a recording of the event afterwards (details to be confirmed soon).

More details about us can be found at http://www.cccoders.org (http://www.cccoders.org/).
