7:00 - 7:30pm: Angus Maidment - Co MD of Blockchain Beginners

At this session, Angus will introduce the concept of the blockchain using Bitcoin as an example. We will learn about the basic mathematics which makes the technology work, and how it can be used in the real world as a currency.

This session will be suitable for anyone who is interested in learning about the technology, and no prior knowledge of blockchain/technology/maths is required. He will explain the concepts in an accessible, non-technical way, and might even try to make some of it fun! This will cover all of the basics once again for those who missed the last event and allude to some of the more advanced bits too for those who were there!
