Opening talk - How to effectively brand yourself - Alastair Band

In the opening talk Alastair Band will give a presentation on how to effectively brand yourself across social media to position yourself to make a transition into a new industry.

Alastair started his career in recruitment in 2007 where he was one of the top billers within his first year. He was just 17 years old. After just over a year the opportunity arose for him to pursue a career as a professional ice hockey player. This endeavour took him all over the world playing in Canada, Europe and even Australia before returning to recruitment in 2013.

The big change came in August 2017 when, having built a social media presence within recruitment he made a decision that blockchain was where the future was, and he wanted to leave recruitment behind. In this talk Alastair will teach you how made this become a reality.
