The Fundamentals of blockchain technologies and Ethereum

It’s with great excitement that I’m able to announce the details for the next Ethereum London Meetup. The event will take place as planned on Tuesday 8th August from 7pm. Once again we are being very kindly hosted by CitizenM Hotel, Tower of London in their amazing top floor bar with London’s best views of the Tower of London.

Based on feedback from the last event, we are changing the event format very slightly, but are still focusing on providing a welcoming, friendly and thought provoking environment for Ethereum beginners, enthusiasts and professionals alike. The new format will see each event focused on a particular theme and will be kicked off by an invited speaker who will introduce the theme, provide their experience and help to create some thought provoking discussion points. After that, people will be free to network and discuss the suggested topics or anything else of interest!

We thought that we would start the first in our series of topics right at the beginning with: "The Fundamentals of blockchain technologies and Ethereum". We’re incredibly lucky to be having an introductory talk from Myles McDonnell ( http://linkedin.com/in/mylesmcdonnell ), a very experienced Technical Solutions Architect currently architecting a large project with one of the UK’s largest retailers.

Tuesday’s event will be especially useful to people new to Ethereum and will provide some background on where it fits within the wider world of crypto technologies.

Nearest Tube: Tower Hill
Finding us: Once in the hotel, take the lifts to the 7th floor bar, absorb the amazing view and then make your way up the stairs in the bar up to the 8th floor where we have exclusive use of the area.

Our Next Event
