For people in and around London (UK) who are interested in Financial Independence and personal finance. Join us to discuss burning questions like 'What's a safe withdrawal rate?', 'What ETF should I buy?', and 'What's my ideal side hustle?'.
Whether you've been part of the FIRE/FI community for a while, or are new to the topic, everyone is welcome.
We started out meeting in pubs but moved events online in 2020. We started doing offline events again in 2021, but due to travel and logistics, most meetups are still online. We're happy to welcome members from further afield, but please do check the event location before signing up :)

The event is hosted by group member Alvar Damen, a 30-year-old Dutch native who used to organize the Financial Independence Edinburgh Meetup and the FI Europe podcast before relocating to London. His daytime job is in IT, but he spends his evenings working on various side hustles. His interests in financial independence include ETF investing, dividend growth investing, frugal living, side hustles, and travel hacking. He's a fantastic source of ideas and information, and we're very lucky to have him helping out!
