News - including free copies of the book "The Ageless Generation"

Dear Futurists,
If you're still undecided about attending our 31st August meetup "Biomedical Discoveries and the Ageless Generation, with Alex Zhavoronkov", here's news that could tip the balance.
The Biogerontology Research Foundation (BGRF) have very kindly agreed to provide up to 50 (fifty) copies of Alex Zhavoronkov's book "The ageless generation: How advances in biomedicine will transform the global economy" free of charge to attendees of this meeting.
That's a saving of £17.99 compared to the recommended retail price of the book (which is, you guessed it, £17.99). Many thanks to the BGRF for this far-sighted contribution!
Small print: in case there are more people who would like a copy, at the meeting, than there are books available, we will give priority to people who have put a link somewhere online (e.g. Twitter, G+, Facebook, LinkedIn) to help spread the word about this meetup. Just include a link to.
One cancellation:
The meetup "Scarcity resolved? with Guy Yeomans" provisionally scheduled for 7th September has unfortunately been cancelled. We hope to arrange for Guy to give this talk early in 2014.
Two new meetups:
In case you haven't noticed, two new London Futurist events have recently been timetabled:

All three speakers - Alex Zhavoronkov, Jeremy Leggett, and Russell Blackford - are world-class experts in their fields. We are fortunate that they have all agreed to talk to us.
