On this hike we explore the hills around Lewes for a great day of hiking! Join us on this classic hike which with over 500m of ascent offers fantastic panoramic views of the English countryside. The perfect way to spend a Summer day. This is a 15 mile picturesque circular hike from the historic town of Lewes which offers fantastic views and even a few great pubs along the way as a reward for our efforts. The three substantial climbs provide a total hiked ascent of over 500m. PLEASE NOTE: The hike will be moderately paced so a good level of hiking experience and fitness is required. What we're about

This is a group for experienced London based hikers who want to go on some truly challenging and breathtaking hiking trips in the UK and abroad.

Every hiking trip on this group will be a challenge in one way or another. There will be hiking. There will be scrambling. There will be mountains and there will be fantastic views to make it all worth it.

I've spent the past two years taking almost every bit of free time I have to go hiking both in the UK and abroad. After successfully organising many hiking trips I'm creating this group to specialise in those hikes which provide the extra challenge but also make it all worth it with the amazing views you'll be treated to. If you're an experienced hiker who has a head for heights, is confident in scrambling up rocks and can tackle a long day's hiking then this is the group for you.

I hope you'll join me on a trip soon. Wherever possible trips will be multiple days. This is so that we can get to somewhere really interesting like Snowdonia, the Lake District, Scotland or abroad (join me for the Romania trip in May 2016!). However, it won't always feasible to go so far so some hikes will be closer to London so they can be done in a day.
