"Last of The Summer Wine", Picnic at the Frieze Art Sculpture garden
Join us for a relaxed afternoon of creativity and socializing in the beautiful settings of the English Gardens in Regents Park, where we will explore the fascinating array of sculptures dotted about the gardens, gather for a picnic and play some fun, creative art games. As we tour the sculptures we will seek to understand their visual qualities and why they appeal to us through group discussion. No prior art learning is necessary. Please follow this link for a short video of participating artists talking about their sculpture. Please bring some food/drink to share, something to sit on and sketching materials if you want to draw the sculptures. This is an outside event, so please remember to dress appropriately. The long range weather forecast is good, however, in the case of inclement weather we may consider rescheduling the event. Please can attendees make sure to check in with a meetup leader before leaving the event, either in person or by sending a text. This is to help the event organisers gather people and ensure a smooth transition between venues. Disclaimer: Please note that this is a free of charge event with a hobby group. It is not organized by a business nor any entity with commercial purposes. Each participant is responsible for their own safety and group organisers assume no responsibility for any kind of injury, damage or loss that may happen. By participating you acknowledge and agree with this disclaimer.

What we're about

Are you are a sensitive person who is working on something creative? Maybe your project is a short story, a movie script, a music album, a design piece or artwork? Let's meet, work on projects or ideas and get inspired! If your nature is sensitive and your instincts are creative then this is the group for you.

We are looking for new members who are creative or artistic (but without being self-absorbed) and who can listen to and positively encourage one another.

We aim to create a very friendly, supportive and non-judgmental space to cater for those of us who also suffer from some social anxiety or shyness, which are common among those who are highly sensitive.
