What we're about

Try new games, meet new people, and find out what small-press role-playing games are all about!

We play tabletop role-playing games and story games like Monsterhearts, Love in the Time of Seið, and Fiasco that encourage everyone at the table to participate creatively.

We also organise Playstorms for budding designers interested in creating their own games from scratch.

New players are very welcome. Please check when our next meetup is.

Indiemeet is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. As a group we all take a personal responsibility in greeting new members. Please come and chat to one of our volunteers, who will be happy to introduce you to the rest of the group, and are available throughout the meet, should you have any concerns. Indiemeet is a safe space where everyone is welcome.

Some of the venues we use may not be wheelchair accessible. Please check in advance, so we can make sure we can accommodate any individual needs.

We believe that gaming is for everyone. Regardless of who you are, or your level of experience.

Indiemeet's Midweek Extrameet

Crosse Keys

For those of us who struggle to make it at weekends we’re now running a midweek evening session: the Indiemeet Midweek Extrameet! Held on the first Thursday of every month. Being in the evening we’ll obviously not have enough time to run two sessions, but otherwise the format will be exactly the same. Turn up, pitch and play. How it works: Come along for 6.30pm to hang out and chat and at roughly 7.00pm we will figure out what games people have brought along, what people want to play and how many games we might be able to run. Games might be GM-led or they might be more of a story game with an expectation that everyone contributes to creating the game rather than just playing a character. Around 7.15pm the games should start. The slot finishes by around 10.15pm and we’re out by[masked]pm. Have a game you'd love to play? Bring it along and tell people what it is and what you'd like to get from playing it. Newcomers Choice: We love to welcome new people to the meetup. So, if it’s your first visit to London Indiemeet, then we’ll ask you what you want to play and make sure that runs.

Indiemeet's Monthly Meetup

Crosse Keys

This is Indiemeet's main monthly meetup. We'll play two game sessions, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, and you're welcome to join us. Come along for 12:00 and meet folk in the back room. At 12:15 we start pitching games. Everyone who's brought a game to run gives a short pitch: they say what it's like, how many players it can take and whether it has a GM or not. Then we allocate people to games. We love people who pitch games, so please do come with something you'd like to run. If it's your first time at Indiemeet, we'll ask what you want to play and try to make sure it runs! At 5pm, we do another pitching session to organise games for the evening. We believe that gaming is for all: Indiemeet believes in providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. We believe that gaming is for everyone, regardless of who you are or your level of experience.
