Chichester (day trip)

Let's make a trip to Chichester (in West Sussex) and the surrounding area. This trip has a maximum of 16 participants.

Meet Mark at London Victoria at 8:30am. I will be wearing an orange T-shirt or scarf and will be standing next to the branch of Nero Express which is next to some moving stairs (opposite the ticket office). My mobile number is 07984 257 572.

Please pay me £40 in cash when you meet me.

We will leave the meeting place at 8:45am (to catch the 9:06am train, arriving at Chichester at 10:35am)

We will then take a bus to the beach at West Wittering.
We will see the beach and the dynamic sand spit at East Head
We will then walk along the attractive coastal path to Itchenor (about 1 hour's walk)
Time for lunch at the Ship Inn (if you prefer you can bring your own sandwiches), before taking a ferry across to the charming village of Bosham [if this is busy we may need to travel by bus instead]
We will end up back in Chichester, where we will have time to visit the cathedral

We will return to Victoria train station at about 9:00pm

The price of £40 includes the all travel (by train and local bus or ferry) plus a contribution to the organiser's costs. You will need to bring some extra cash for food and drink.
