Web Payments: Introducing new browser APIs for easier online purchases

Ever given up paying for something online because the checkout process was too long and complicated? What if you could just pay with your fingerprint? Introducing "Web Payments", new APIs to make online payments easier and more secure. The first of these, the Payment Request API, is now supported across multiple browsers on mobile and desktop. For us developers, it can help us avoid complicated checkout flows and quickly collect our users' payment and shipping details. For our users, it provides a consistent, easy and secure checkout process across all supporting websites. Also coming up: the Payment Handler API will allow web apps to provide their own payment options, responding to Payment Requests via a service worker. In this talk, we'll check out the potential for our checkouts!
