GPU Programming in Julia

An evening of GPU Programming in Julia

Avik Sengupta will present a tutorial on using Julia to program for the GPU. Using CUDA and CuArrays, he will show how high level dynamic Julia code can be compiled directly to the GPU within Julia.

Malcolm Sherrington will show us how to use OpenCL. The emergence of OpenCL has added support for a wider range of GPUs for numerical parallel compute. Malcolm will demonstrate how it is possible to embark on programming on the GPU without the need for expensive hardware.

John Hearns will demonstrate the usage of Julia on the Nvidia Jetson nano single board GPU computer.
