Come and join us for what it is shaping to be an amazing meetup, not one to miss if you are in London.

Event full of amazing speakers:

Damini Satya (Salesforce, Software Engineer)
Title: Sailing the seas of configurations with Kapitan
Summary - We recently got our hands dirty with Kapitan and converted internal service's configuration into a declarative manifest. This session will cover

  • Why Kapitan?
  • Kapitan features we have used.
  • How we converted the service into composable components.
  • How we integrated Kapitan and Vault.

Dave Cunningham (Google, Jsonnet creator)
Title: Jsonnet background & rationale
A talk about why Jsonnet is the way it is, and why it's better than using YAML or language X.

Damien Lespiau (weave.works, jk creator)
Title: jk - the new kid in the configuration block
Damien will present a different take on configuration languages: how embedded DSLs allow leveraging the ecosystem of the host language (in this case, javascript!), a new v8-based run-time specifically designed for configuration and emerging libraries to maintain micro-services running on Kubernetes.

Ricardo Amaro (DeepMind Health, Head of DevOps and Kapitan creator)
Title: Kapitan Present and Future
A view about the current state of Kapitan and the plans we have for the future!
