About us
Welcome to the London LGBTQ+ Dinner Club.
We are a friendly group that welcomes everyone regardless of where you are on the spectrum on sexuality or gender identity and expression.
The group was founded by Ian, who ran the successful London Gay Men's Dinner Club for eight years and the same warmth and welcome that that group was known for is now reaching out to all in the LGBTQ+ community.
We will meet once a month to go for dinner at a restaurant in London. We will meet for pre-dinner drinks first before heading to that month's chosen restaurant. There may be months where we have a social gathering at a pub/bar but generally we will be meeting to go out for food. Restaurant recommendations are always welcome.
The aim of the group is to meet and make new friends and be a welcoming, friendly and inclusive group of LGBTQ+ people.
The one rule for dinner is that we split the bill by how many attend. This avoids awkwardness and (from years of experience) the tricky task of figuring out individual amounts. If you do not agree with this, then please do not sign-up for events.
Keep an eye out for events as they are announced on Meetup. It will be great to welcome you and any friends you have to the group.

Mediterranean Cafe Soho

Whether you're craving a hearty meal or a light snack, we look forward to serving you with warmth and hospitality.

Our evening will begin at Village on Wardour Street where those that wish to can meet for pre-dinner drinks from 6pm.
Dinner at Mediterranean Cafe is at 7.30pm and you can meet us there if you cannot or don't want to attend pre-dinner drinks.
As already stated, if you do RSVP, you will need to provide a pre-order for your food choices for each course. You will also be asked to pay a deposit if £11. £10 will go towards your meal and the remaining £1 covers Meetup and PayPal costs. Note that PayPal charge their own 'handling fee' for your booking too.
Remember - we split the bill evenly between the number of attendees on the night and if you are a late cancellation or do not show up, your deposit is non-refundable.
After the meal, you're welcome to head home or join those of us who go for a post-dinner drink (usually at The Friendly Society - next door to Village) on Wardour Street.
This will be a lovely way to spend a summer's evening in London - good food and great company. Book soon as there are only 16 spaces.
