Agile has caught on as the new thing in the business world, and we are seeing several fields taking up and applying various ideas from the Agile community. Change Management is one of them with a small number of early adopters starting to draw on the more iterative, experimental and feedback driven approaches offered by the Agile community. And there are signs that it may catch on as a new and innovative approach that is better able to deal with the modern day complexity of change.

With this in mind, on the 29th of September, the CMI’s London chapter will be running an ‘Open Space (http://www.openspaceworld.org/files/tmnfiles/2pageos.htm)’ event on how Agile thinking and techniques can support organisational change.

The ‘Open Space’ format will provide us with a collaborative forum to explore agile thinking in the context of change management and understand the potential benefits of more agile change.

Doors open: 6:30pm
Open space starts promptly: 6:45pm
Pizza and networking: 8:15pm

£10 for CMI / Management 3.0 Meetup group members.

£20 for non-CMI / non-Management 3.0 Meetup group members

There will only be 30 spaces available so book quickly.

Please email [masked], including your contact number, to register for this event and arrange payment. Please only RSVP to this meetup once you have paid for the event.

We will be drawing on Andrew Kidd, Richard Atherton and Andrea Darabos to facilitate the event, providing us with a wealth of experience in the agile change management frontier.

Andrew Kidd

I’ve spent most of my working life studying and modelling excellence, in order to support people on their transformation journeys. With 3 main loves in life - systems, people, and technology - I’m at my happiest where these peak, which usually finds me Coaching in the tech-enabled innovation space, from seedling enterprises to mighty oaks, both public and private sector. A self-confessed insight junkie and tool geek, I’m delighted to be able to share with you the latest thinking in Lean Change Management, which I believe is the most humane, respectful and risk-averse way for facilitating innovating safely, and making change safe.

Richard Atherton

I'm passionate how humans and how they change. I have a background in change consulting and start-ups, combined with studies in neuroscience and psychotherapy. I am interested in how we can apply learnings from the healing sciences, with Agile and Lean techniques, to transform how we work and who we are as teams. In essence, how can we be better at doing what we do?

Andrea Darabos
